Sthi & Shobi September 2009, Pretoria

Sthi & Shobi wanted a modern marquee wedding. We positioned the ceremony at the swimming pool, with white carpets and café chairs leading towards the ceremonial area. At the reception we used two design styles – the rectangular tables featured vases with single stems and purple tinted water. The round tables had clustered arrangements, in tall glass vases. Interspersed were mirror boxes filled with white pebbles and single Arum Lily heads. We also used cylinder vases raised on glass sheets to float orchids. Our lighting was done in shades of purple and changed with every course and behind a closed off section we created a Manhattan style nightclub, which was revealed in the later part of the evening.
