Shayna & Sid December 2007, Cape Town

Sid and Shayna wanted an elegant wedding with a contemporary feel. Their ceremony combined Jewish and Christian tradition, which was truly beautiful, and guests gathered afterwards for chocolate Martinis and canapés. Their reception was banquet style with opulent centre pieces to compliment the sophistication of the Mount Nelson's ballroom, and ghost candelabras positioned on glass flower boxes, to bring in a modern feel. There was an awesome lightness in the room with the cream and white flowers and ‘floating’ candles. Their cake was five tier in layers of French Brie and Camembert, finished off with fresh roses and served with fig preserve and chocolate truffles.
